About the position
Council's Customer Experience and Transformation Department is looking for a Coordinator Customer Service and Experience.

This is an exciting and dynamic role which plays a strategic part of driving and supporting enhanced customer experiences across the organisation.


The main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and inspire the customer service team through coaching and mentoring to deliver exceptional, empathy led customer experiences;
  • Provide strategic advice around service delivery to support Council to be a leading organisation in the Local Government sector;
  • Deliver the current Customer Experience (CX) strategy in partnership with key stakeholders and prepare for the next phase of our CX journey; and
  • Continually advance best practice by ensuring the team have the systems, skills, and knowledge to be able to deliver customer service excellence.
This is permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week.

About you

  • Have Bachelor degree or skills acquired through lesser formal qualifications together with extensive and diverse experience, or intensive specialist experience;
  • Be a Customer Service Specialist; and
  • Be a values led leader with a passion and vison to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
