About the opportunity

We have an opportunity for self-motivated and experienced individuals to join our team at new Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre (BARC) in Glendenning.

We are seeking to fill:

• 1 x permanent, fulltime role

- various casual roles

The rostered days for this role are between Monday - Sunday.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

• Relevant qualifications in an appropriate field
• Demonstrated customer service experience or administration experience with both telephone and facetoface inquiries in a fastpaced and highvolume area
• Demonstrated a high level of experience in handling and working with companion animals
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
• Current Class "C" driver's licence.

Desirable:

• Sound knowledge of all relevant Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines of the Companion Animals Act 199
• Authority to implant microchips
• Ability to drive a manual vehicle.

Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

Permanent, full-time role

• Entry level for this position starts at $1,175.30 per week
• 38hour working week
• Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight.
