Position Overview:
As the Technical Lead, your role involves leading engineering teams, offering insights, and providing technical direction to ensure our platforms are of the highest quality and meet the required standards.
You are expected to be a seasoned digital software engineer in your field and possess the technical expertise to assess and enhance software engineering practices to promote maturity and capability.
This position is ideal for a seasoned developer with substantial commercial experience, aspiring to advance into a technical leadership role and contribute significantly to the company's overall digital transformation, designing and constructing the next generation of digital products and platforms.
Key Requirements:
Extensive background in full-stack developmentExperience in leading and nurturing software engineering teamsHands-on experience in developing solutions in intricate, cloud-based environmentsCommercial expertise with Java and/or Node.
JSExperience in front-end development using React or AngularCreating, developing, and managing solutions in the AWS cloud with a focus on scalability and reliability using serverless and event-driven architectureExperience in running applications in a production environment with a strong emphasis on observabilityDesirable;Experience in a highly regulated industry.
Experience with a hybrid in-house/offshore delivery modelExperience in modernizing a legacy technical stack to conform to contemporary industry-accepted software development and delivery practicesExperience in driving change within the technology unit of an organization catering to both B2C and B2B needs.
