about the role

Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Training Assurance Analyst (Systems) to join the Operations training team. Reporting to the Competency and Development Team Lead, this permanent role will be based in Perth.


This role is responsible for maintaining the records and structure of the training and competency databases ensuring that accurate training and competency history is available for employees and supervisors.


Additionally, the Training Assurance Analyst (Systems) will:

  • Create and maintain basic Power Bi reports that provide information to supervisors to help manage training and competency demands
  • Ensure employee data and reporting relationships are maintained within the Competency and Learning management systems
  • Perform problem analysis to resolve system and data issues within the competency management system
  • Build and maintain operations training and competency profiles within the competency management system
  • Maintain process and tools used to load training completion information into required databases

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • Strong administration experience, preferably in a similar role within a training team
  • Intermediate excel skills required to perform basic data manipulation (pivot tables, summarising data, combining simple lists of data, etc)
  • Experience of working with Learning Management or Competency Management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in documenting processes and work instructions
