DESCRIPTION

AWS is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Network Field Technician to join their expanding team in infrastructure delivery for AWS data centers deployment.

This full-time role involves collaborating with internal clients, vendors, and coordinating regional resources to ensure smooth project execution alongside Technical Program managers. Responsibilities include supporting data center locations and assisting with daily capacity management.

Reporting to the ID Manager, your duties will include:

  • Performing installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware, software, and fiber connectivity following project delivery standards.
  • Adhering to deadlines and working autonomously to maintain the stability of AWS networks.
  • Implementing best practices, enhancing operational procedures, and identifying process improvements.
  • Thriving in an organized and team-oriented environment.
  • Handling computer equipment tasks as required.
  • Executing cabling, labeling, certification, and patching of network equipment.
  • Managing onsite tools and materials inventory.
  • Assisting in hardware migration, configuration, and deployment.
  • Updating tasks through ticketing systems and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve project issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in customer communication during issue resolution and working effectively under pressure.
