ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions is a collaborative project between ANZ Banking Group and the prime payment technology firm in Europe, Worldline.

We established ourselves in Australia in early 2022, delivering payment solutions both in-store and for e-commerce to approximately 60,000 Australian businesses. Since then, we have crafted a new state-of-the-art technology foundation to facilitate an exciting array of products and solutions that will be unveiled in Australia throughout 2023 and beyond.

The Opportunity:

At Worldline, streamlining and securing transactions is our day-to-day commitment. Encompassing the entire payment value chain, our tech-savvy specialists construct and manage digital platforms that oversee the countless crucial transactions linking a company, its affiliates, and its clientele.

We are currently in search of a Product Manager – Acceptance Products, accountable for designing and executing top-notch customer engagement solutions for our Issuing and Acquiring clients as they strive to enhance customer interactions via their e-commerce payment offerings.

Our team of product managers operates across a spectrum of products, including in-house e-commerce solutions, merchant payment service providers, and our omni-channel proposition.

Our Acceptance product team adopts a global perspective infused with a FinTech ambiance. This global mindset shapes your daily experiences as a Worldliner.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Apply research, feedback from customers and internal partners, and industry trends to grasp product requirements from a customer standpoint. Identify fresh opportunities to outline a product roadmap.
  • Develop, guide, and disclose the product roadmap by establishing the unique selling propositions (USPs).
  • Support the product development cycle by delineating development requirements; take charge of the design process and outcomes.
  • Engage and synchronize with key team members across the organization to communicate priorities, roadmap, and essential insights.
  • Establish success criteria and metrics for new products.
  • Construct the product commercialization model and underpin it with a financial business blueprint.

Indicators of Success

  • Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for creating exceptional e-commerce products that enhance customer interactions across various digital channels – mobile, in-app, web, and in-store.
  • Be prepared to fashion and execute a product roadmap and vision pertaining to customer engagement and product experiences to aid our clients in delivering a superior product experience.
  • Possess an autonomous drive to fulfill product and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with product development teams and key team members to define and strategize the next-generation product offerings.
  • Be recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in Customer Engagements by the Sales and Presales teams.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in product management
  • Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously or substantial projects.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation with minimal supervision; display initiative.
  • Adept at translating general requirements into actionable plans.
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in product development and management
  • Keen to enhance professional capabilities through ongoing training and educational prospects
  • Results-driven, adept at problem-solving, exhibit business acumen, value diverse perspectives and opinions
  • Preferred knowledge of the card payments industry
