Job Location: Perth, Western Australia

Western Diagnostic Pathology, a key player in Australia's private medical laboratory and pathology services, is a part of Healius' Pathology division. They operate around 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centers across Australia. With their extensive reach and quality services, they cater to a diverse range of clients, from large hospitals to remote Aboriginal communities.

About the Role

If you are enthusiastic and eager to join a dedicated team, this role is perfect for you. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting samples with precision and care
  • Maintaining detailed records for each patient and sample
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transportation and testing

About You

To be considered for this position, you should possess a variety of skills, such as:

  • Demonstrating empathy, excellent communication, and top-notch customer service
  • Strong abilities in time management, interpersonal relations, and organization
  • Being confident in working independently in a clinic environment
  • Having evidence of vaccine preventable diseases like Hepatitis B and COVID-19
  • Previous experience or knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection is a plus

Training

All new Pathology Collectors will undergo comprehensive training upon starting the role.
