About the role:

The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and administering contracts and commercial agreements to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and optimise business outcomes. This role involves coordinating with various internal departments, external stakeholders, and legal counsel to facilitate the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts.

  • Prepare and manage all quotes, tenders, and hiring information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to the commercial team in managing client relationships, proposals, and pricing.
  • Draw up, review, and close contracts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, ensuring terms and conditions are clearly defined and adhered to.
  • Create and maintain the document management processes, including organising, storing, and retrieving contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations in all contract-related activities and Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Make informed decisions regarding contract terms, pricing, and negotiation strategies, balancing company interests with customer/vendor expectations.
  • Liaise with company stakeholders, including sales, legal, finance, and operations teams, to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Work with relevant parties to ensure the best outcome for the company
  • Monitor contract performance, track key milestones, and identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, amendments, and renewals.
  • General administrative duties including answering calls and managing email enquiries

The successful candidates must have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a contract administrator or similar role
  • Strong understanding of contract management and processes
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail, with a focus on quality and compliance
  • The ability to pick up and master new computer systems
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
