Lab Technician

Programmed Skilled Workforce are seeking a suitably qualified Laboratory personnel for an ongoing role in Bell Bay Tasmania. The ideal candidate will be an experienced laboratory sampler and/or technician in a manufacturing environment.
Applicants should be confident with the following:
- Sample collection and preparation of ores, minerals and/or alloys
- XRF instrumental analysis
- Carbon/Sulphur instrumental analysis
- Gravimetric water analysis
- Relevant compliance to good laboratory practice (GLP)
- Proficient in Word & Excel
Further requirements:
- Ability to pass a full medical, drug & alcohol assessment
- Flexibility to be on-call & work 10-12 hour shifts across a 7 day roster
- Excellent knowledge of safety processes and a proven track record
- Hold a Construction Industry White Card or the ability to obtain ASAP
- Forklift licence or the ability to obtain one advantageous
