Programmed Skilled Workforce are seeking a suitably qualified Laboratory personnel for an ongoing role in Bell Bay Tasmania. The ideal candidate will be an experienced laboratory sampler and/or technician in a manufacturing environment.

Applicants should be confident with the following:

  • Sample collection and preparation of ores, minerals and/or alloys
  • XRF instrumental analysis
  • Carbon/Sulphur instrumental analysis
  • Gravimetric water analysis
  • Relevant compliance to good laboratory practice (GLP)
  • Proficient in Word & Excel

Further requirements:

  • Ability to pass a full medical, drug & alcohol assessment
  • Flexibility to be on-call & work 10-12 hour shifts across a 7 day roster
  • Excellent knowledge of safety processes and a proven track record
  • Hold a Construction Industry White Card or the ability to obtain ASAP
  • Forklift licence or the ability to obtain one advantageous
