Key responsibilities

  • Enhancing stakeholders' understanding of CGM's businesses and the markets in which they operate
  • Staying connected to external events that impact CGM and assessing relevance to CGM's narrative
  • Managing a team of communication staff and working closely with other team members across the Global Stakeholder Engagement offering
  • Developing relationships with key individuals in other areas of the CGM business, Finance, Risk Management, HR, and Strategy teams globally

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in banking or professional services. An analytical, strategy, sales, or trading background is preferable
  • Strong understanding of business, financial and accounting concepts, and an ability to interpret key financial data
  • Good understanding of global financial markets with an ability to analyse the competitive and economic dynamics affecting financial institutions in particular
  • Ideally a good understanding of APRA's regulatory framework and the role they play in overseeing Australian banking businesses and conglomerates
  • Analytical thinker who is data driven with a curious mindset and possesses strong problemsolving skills
  • Excellent team management skills with an ability to coach, build capability and skills across all levels
  • Strong influencer and collaborator that aligns the team around a collective purpose
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
