Overview


You will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, confidential, customer-focused administrative service to support clients and families accessing services through the Children's Health and Development Team.

You will assist with the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of NDIS services to improve the health and developmental outcomes of NDIS participants.

This will involve coordinating NDIS services by regularly monitoring service plans, data collection and revenue in accordance with organisational priorities and plans.

You will also assist with the preparation and follow-up of client intake processes by preparing files, entering CME data, making initial appointments and sending out information as directed by Allied Health Professionals.

Reporting to the Community Care Program Manager, you will compile monthly statistics in the computer data system (CME) and provide regular feedback to Allied Health Professionals, Nursing and Home Support workers providing services to NDIS participants.

Organising client appointments as per the timetable set by Allied Health Professionals, you will ensure necessary correspondence to clients is prepared and sent as directed.

To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in providing administrative and clerical support services.

You will have proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of clients, members of the community, health service staff and staff from other agencies.

Along with excellent customer service skills, you will bring the ability to work as a member of a team and contribute positively to a spirit of team cooperation.

Sound word processing and data entry skills will be beneficial.
