With a brilliant team across Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, we are there to help our Participants to achieve their goals to live a fulfilling life.

About the Role
We currently seeking
Casual Support Workers to join our team in the Browns Plains Area. As a casual Support Worker, you will be providing person centered active support to people living with disabilities.

Support required depends on the Participants needs, however experience with personal care and deescalating behaviour of concern will be highly regarded.

We have a variety of shifts available that include Morning and Afternoon, including sleepovers.

You will need to be flexible to take on shifts from Monday to Sunday at 6am to 3pm, and sleepover shifts from 2pm to 8am.

We need people who are as committed and passionate to a be part of a dynamic team that delivers genuine support in all domains of life, to enable access to quality of life with dignity, respect, and social inclusion.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Personal care: dressing, toileting, and showering
  • Domestic duties including meal preparation, shopping, housekeeping and cleaning
  • Assistance with Medication
  • Administering Medication
  • Behaviour of Concern
  • Bowel and Catheter Care
  • Behaviour Support with ASD and Mental Health
  • Provide community inclusion and support Participants to develop relationships and interests through access to community activities and services.

Your skills and experience include:

  • Prior experience supporting Participants with disabilities highly desirable
  • Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
  • Must have a QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
  • Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • Experience in managing CPAP and Catheter Care
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Smart phone with internet access
  • Proof of vaccination against COVID19 (2 doses required)
  • Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
