Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day delivery (Volume Management
  • PR to PO, Query resolution, urgent request processing, escalation management etc.)
  • Resolve all procurement or supply issues escalated at a regional level acting as a single point of contact for the stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with regional stakeholders, including at a site and functional level, proactively seeking feedback, monitoring service satisfaction, and sharing performance reporting and project updates.
  • Lead the development of the regional relationship to ensure an uninterrupted service provision to operational performance as impacted by the supply base & SAP system
  • Develop trusting relationships across all stakeholders by obtaining a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and expanding the relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs across the procure to pay process
  • Reject noncompliant requests and work with the regional stakeholders to remedy issues
  • Contribute to definition and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives based on identified issues. Identifying associated training needs and interventions to close gaps
  • Work closely work with Accounts Payable to ensure smooth transactions as well as help resolve issues

  • Previous experience in a procurement officer/lead role, having owned and operated in a fully integrated end-to-end procurement management role
  • A thorough understanding of SAP (ECC &S4H) is essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to cut through ambiguity
