The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes.

VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.

About the Role
Stakeholders are varied from tenants, landlords, business owners, lawyers and other members of the general public. Officers will need to tailor their communication when dealing with this variety of stakeholders to ensure clear communication.

Officers are tasked with answering enquiries received through the call centre, or front counter, while also undertaking some administrative tasks.

You will be dealing with VCAT users and the wider community on a range of matters relating to dispute resolution and the progress of matters already underway, amongst other enquiries.

About You

  • Experience working in a highvolume Contact Centre environment and/or customer service counter
  • Knowledge of the VCAT Act and associated legislation is highly desirable, but not essential.
