  • This position provides support to the Protective and Risk Services Team with business-wide analysis, advice and professional support for security, incident and operational planning, services and solutions for effective and efficient operational security planning across the team.
  • Day rate contract paying up to 600 plus Super per day, initial term of 3 months with outlook to extend, based in Sydney CBD.

Responsibilities:

  • The position applies professional experience and know-how to proactively contribute to the ongoing development, documentation and business unit wide implementation of new standard policies, procedures, processes, systems, structures, reports, models and templates required to provide added value advice, analysis, reports, services and solutions.
  • The position is required to work effectively with others to provide a cohesive, end to end service that supports responsible financial management practices.

Key Accountabilities:

Open-Source Monitoring


• Maintaining global, regional and local situational awareness of events that may impact the safety of our people, infrastructure and our operations

• Ability to analyse different data types from various sources and draw conclusions regarding past and potential current security incidents.

• Gather and analyse intelligence from a wide range of sources, including open-source information, government sources, and industry experts

• Identify and assess potential threats and opportunities facing the organization

• Conduct research and analysis on specific issues or threats as directed by management and prepare briefing materials and presentations for management and key stakeholders


• Coordinate Protective Services response processes when activated in the event of a physical incident or emergency.Document incidents from initial identification through final resolution, consolidating information to provide reporting and analysis as required to operational teams


• Liaise with incident response team to gather updates to inform action management and response decision making

• This role may infrequently involve work during non-core business hours, in response to major safety or security events.

Security Incident Trend Analysis and Research


• Review security incident reports to identify security trends to inform risk assessments for operations, people and infrastructure.

• Review market security trends and support the development and review of plans and processes and their testing as required

Business Area Administration


• Support the operations team with processing service requests were required

• Work across the team to provide administrative support and

Undertakes ad-hoc projects and other activities.

• Performs work activities relevant to the role's key accountabilities as approved by the Manager and commensurate to the role's classification level.
