We have a fantastic opportunity for a General Manager in Sydney to join the Dexus Office Asset and Property Management team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer orientated, property management leader for a position at 5 Martin Place - a premium grade Office property located in the heart of the Sydney CBD.


As a General Manager at Dexus you will be responsible for leading a high performing asset-based team, supported by the wider Dexus Real Estate Services Platform.


You will play a pivotal role in the positive impact we have on our customers, while having your own personal and professional development supported through a range of employee benefits and programs.

You will be key in the development and implementation of asset strategy, under the direction of the Co-Owners (of which there are two).

How you will make an impact


At the core of this busy, challenging and customer focused role the General Manager has responsibility, under the instruction of the Co-Owners, for developing property investment strategies to meet asset objectives, and in providing a strategic framework to optimise both the customer experience and portfolio returns.


This will be a role with significant focus on leasing - with involvement in large scale leasing campaigns, delivery of leasing related capex and managing agency relationships being a core component.


This role will see you lead, coach and mentor a team to drive a customer centric approach and culture of achievement, accountability, agility and high engagement whilst driving the financial and non-financial performance of the property.

You will collaborate and ensure that your team maintains and develops key customer relationships.


About You- To be successful in this role you will have a strong depth of experience in property management, ideally across both the commercial Office and Retail sectors.- You will be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, handling competing priorities and providing a high level of customer service.- Strong leasing expertise is essential, along with skills in stakeholder management, reporting and capex management.- Tertiary qualifications in business, property economics, finance or other related area is preferred.


Prior experience working in a similar role on an A grade property or portfolio is preferred, with exposure to property investment and asset plans, along with developing and delivering strategy to deliver investment outperformance.


You will join and lead a hardworking, supportive team with a positive attitude and team spirit and the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of people with diverse personalities, work well under pressure, calmly handling competing priorities.
