About the Role

  • Location: Geelong-based
  • Hours: 3 days/week
  • Rate: $37/hr + super
  • Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Creating and sending approval letters for treatments and services to clients, providers, and solicitors
  • Indexing documents to relevant claims
  • Indexing high volumes of documents through Outlook RTW1 inbox and Avanti (IDX)
  • Requesting Freedom of Information (FOI) through MedEbridge (UHG)
  • Following up on MedEbridge (UHG) On Holds
  • Printing and sending claims correspondence
  • Creating and sending contact letters
  • Indexing web-messages
  • Releasing medical information to solicitors (ROI)
  • Releasing print-out of payments to solicitors (POP)

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong written communication with attention to detail
  • Confident phone skills
  • Ability to work mostly autonomously using guidance documents and work processes
  • More than basic admin skills with the ability to think and solve basic problems
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn various platforms like Mbridge and Avanti
  • PA/Legal assistant or Medical/Legal admin assistant skills are highly desirable
