Position summary

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our monumental Oil & Gas project in South Australia


This is an integral role within the site leadership team where your primary focus will be the responsibility for the delivery, quality and service excellence to the contract, through effective management and monitoring of operational requirements in order to deliver all required works in a safe, timely and client desired manner, whilst meeting the business objectives and quality standards.


Your key requirements for the role will include:
A proven track record of site supervision

Direct and control maintenance activities to ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety and performance are observed and that time schedules are met;
A proven ability to develop and maintain key internal and external relationships

Proven success in the delivery of maintenance service based contracts

The ability to effectively manage a group of trades persons

Excellent problem solving skills

High level of attention to detail - strong analytical & conceptual skills

Strong written and oral skills


The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a variety of stake holders at all levels including experience in negotiating with Trade Unions.

Ability to initiate and successfully manage improvements in business initiatives / processes and procedures.

Strong leadership & people management skills

About You:

You will be a very 'hands-on' leader in the day-to-day planning, preparation and delivery of activities

Previous experience on maintenance and shutdown projects in a similar role is a must

Nationally recognised trade qualification

Strong written and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and leadership capability;
Proven leadership ability with a very strong commitment to zero harm

Ability to organise and prioritise tasks, and be proactive with a high degree of initiative.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others.
