About the role


We're seeking a Group Manager - Product Owners and Agile Delivery to lead the Customer and Technology Product Owner function and also own and drive the Agile ways of working across existing and new squads as we scale Agile delivery capability across Customer and Technology.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Develop the vision and purpose of the Product Owner Team and how it will function within the broader Customer and Technology Team, with a focus on the future vision of the Customer Retail business whilst remaining connected with the CX&O function.
  • Lead a dedicated function with endtoend accountability for developing the products / squads vision and strategy
  • Own and embed our scaled agile ways of working across Customer and Technology with a focus on the Customer Retail Business.
  • Lead the implementation of best practice Agile ways of working across the Customer Retail Business
  • Provide regular leadership, mentoring and coaching to all team members
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Product management experience working on mass consumer facing products
  • Agile delivery experience in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Experience managing and leading multiple backlogs, products and teams
  • Proven experience in consumer product, you will have worked and built digital B2C products user experiences for thousands of users;
  • High level business acumen and experience managing budgets and finances
  • Excellent communication skills, written (including report writing) and verbal and highly advanced influencing and stakeholder management experience
  • In depth knowledge of current online technologies, design principles and development approaches and a demonstrated track record of working with development and UX/UI teams to deliver cutting edge digital products.
  • Qualifications in preferably Experience design, Technology or business administration related field
  • Experience product development software including Jira and Slack. Solid familiarity with development methodologies, life cycles, and best practices
