To develop and lead the marketing strategy and its successful implementation across the marketing team, growing food & beverage revenue, increase membership volume and developing tactics to achieve greater profitability and market share.


Responsibilities:

  • Building and implementing a 3year Marketing Strategy in line with business strategy
  • Delivery of all marketing activities including the achievement of sales and machine utilisation targets.
  • Support the Loyalty & Engagement Manager to redefine the rewards program, utilising technology to drive efficiency.
  • Providing interpretation and counsel to key stakeholders regarding marketing activity based on market research and local area intelligence.
  • Management of the strategic direction of 'go to market' and tactical execution plans for a range of products and services.
  • Directing the development of strategically aligned pricing and discount policies.
  • Ongoing market research to ensure we are meeting customer and member expectations, using feedback to drive facilities and product offerings.
  • Allocating and overseeing the group Marketing budget in consultation with Finance and Operations Managers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing (or comparable) required.
  • Knowledge in the wagering, retail or hospitality industry highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of loyalty programs, their operation and administration and data analytics.
  • Experience in team and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated experience in acquiring, analysing and utilising market intelligence/competitor analysis/research techniques.
  • Demonstrated loyalty and rewards management experience within sports, leisure, hospitality and events industry or similar.
  • Experienced in negotiating and managing relationships with third party suppliers and stakeholders.
