About the Role

Join our dynamic Group Finance Treasury team as a Senior Portfolio Manager and play a pivotal role in managing BOQ's liquid assets. This position is designed to maximize returns and enhance income for the Bank through effective management of credit, interest rate, and foreign exchange trading activities. You will be formulating and executing strategies to maximize P&L, ROE, and minimize capital in relation to the Trading and Banking Book Liquid Assets Portfolios. With significant potential to influence the Bank's profitability, this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about contributing to the high performance of the Treasury team and maximizing profit through innovative trading strategies while managing risks within established limits and frameworks.

About you

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in portfolio management and a deep understanding of financial markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing credit, interest rate, and foreign exchange trading activities, along with a strong risk management background. You should be adept at formulating and executing trading strategies that align with the Bank's goals and risk appetite. Your ability to influence and drive profitability while adhering to regulatory requirements and risk frameworks will be key to your success in this role.
