Building on its strong heritage, rich assets and deep customer relationships, Global Express is pursuing a customer-led strategy of growth and transformation.

It aims to invest and build operational capability to establish industry leadership by protecting and enhancing its offering of speed, reach and scale to B2B and B2C customers and leading in customer experience, sustainability and offer innovation.

Global Express has a desire to build a brand reputation of being the strategic logistics partner of choice, committing to delivering what they promise, supporting the development of their customers businesses, empowering receivers, and leading in sustainability and carbon management.

As a member of the newly created strategy function at Team Global Express, you will be an instrumental part of designing the strategy to support our customer-led growth and transformation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Gathering, analysing and drawing strategic and technical conclusions from data you and others have gathered
• Developing actionable recommendations
• Facilitating the implementation of these recommendations
• Consulting with our senior management and leaders;
• Discussing business and organisational challenges and identifying solutions;
• Selfdirected both within project teams and taking initiative to contribute towards the broader Group strategy formulation and execution.

About you

• At least 35 years work experience in a rigorous strategy development and planning environment, such as a global consulting firm or corporate strategy function
• A proven record of academic excellence
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Experience conduction market and competitor research and analysis
• An innovative and collaborative approach to problemsolving.
• Natural selfdirection, with the ability to operate in ambiguity and learn quickly.
• Eagerness to collaborate, coach, mentor, and help others grow professionally.
• Experience in transport and logistics sector a plus
