As a Category Data Analyst, you will support the Senior Category and Shopper Marketing Manager in driving the development and execution of the ANZ category growth strategy.

Your main responsibilities will include consolidating briefs, managing data providers, preparing category performance reports, and conducting deep dives for the executive leadership team.

You will play a key role in providing insights through agile reporting, building reports and dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy from multiple sources of truth.


  • Consolidate briefs and support the Category Manager in executing the category growth strategy
  • Manage relationships with data providers and ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare category performance reports and conduct deep dives for leadership teams
  • Build reports and dashboards, and ensure agile data analysis
  • Support the Category Manager in developing compelling category insights and delivering on key objectives

About you
You have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work with data to deliver meaningful insights.

Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will be valuable in presenting market trends and competitor insights to stakeholders.


  • Experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a category management or insight role
  • Proficiency in managing relationships with data providers and ensuring data accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills to provide market, competitor, and technology trends in laymen's terms
  • Exposure to programs such as Quantium, Summit, Synergy, and Circana (formerly IRI) would be highly regarded
