ABOUT US


Colbrow Care provides premium support services for children and adults who have physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities, children and adults injured in road traffic accidents, adults injured in the workplace as well as Older Australians receiving Aged Care at home.


For many Australians living with a disability, reduced mobility and/or cognition, in-home care and support allows them to live comfortably in their own home and actively participate within their community.

ABOUT THE ROLE


You will be responsible for the delivery of personalised support that enhances your clients' independence, social and community participation and helps them achieve their goals in accordance with their care plans.

You will support each client to maintain their independence and dignity by providing assistance with activities of daily living such as:

  • _ Personal care_
- _ Social Support_
- _ Community Access _
- _Transport_
- _ Medication Monitoring_
- _ Domestic Assistance_
- _

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have
AND/OR be willing to obtain the following:

  • _ Certificate IV in Disability, Community Care, or Individual Support_
- _ Proven experience in this or a similar role/field_
- _ Current Working with Children's Check_
- _ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Police Check) _
- _First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)_
- _ Mandatory competencies (as required by Colbrow Care)_
- _ Valid working rights in Australia_

You may not have extensive experience, but with a growth mindset and commitment, we will help you establish and grow your career as a Disability Support Worker
