Overview of the role


This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Assistant/EA to take the next step in their career as Junior Project Coordinator.

You will be working on one of the largest transformation projects Suncorp has undertaken on an initial 6-month fixed term contract.

The project is likely to run for 5+ years' so there it is likely the role will extend or become permanent.


You will provide project support of the day-to-day project requirements, including the coordination and management of all administrative functions including financial, travel & accommodation, meeting and room bookings and compiling reports/packs.


Supporting a large team, the role would suit something with a can-do attitude where no two days are the same.

It is essential you are a 'people-person' who enjoys building strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Project Manager's with daytoday administration activities related to the project
  • Management of project mailbox and calendars
  • Travel bookings
  • Coordination of stakeholder meetings, often across various locations and time zones
  • Development of presentation material

What you'll bring:

  • At least 1+ year management assistant/project coordinator experience within a busy corporate environment is essential
  • Strong organisational, planning and administrative skills, the ability to show initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
  • Previous finance administration experience beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and a cando attitude are essential
