The Company
Our client is a well established and market leading distributor of Asian food products across Australia.

Established 40+ years ago, the business is family owned with multiple sites nationally and they operate across multiple retail and foodservice channels.


The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Manager to join the team.

Leading a team of 4, the IT Manager will have overall responsibility and accountability for building a robust technology strategy and digital roadmap for the business while working closely with senior leadership and external vendor partners.


Key areas of responsibility include the following:

  • Overall responsibility for devising and updating the technology strategy and technology roadmap for the organisation.
  • Prepare and execute the technology budget and ensure the budget guidelines are followed and expenditure is within budget.
  • Create a digital roadmap for the organisation and set short, medium and long term objectives and timebound action plans.
  • Initiate, lead and support technology requirements of the assigned business functions and their delivery in accordance with project goals, times scales and costs.
  • ERP Implementation understanding the business needs of the organisation, identifying and implementing the appropriate technology strategies.
  • Integration of the ERP and various other technology tools of the organisation to help improve overall organisational efficiency.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar.
  • Prior experience working in the FMCG/consumer goods/distribution/logistics industries desirable.
  • Technology exposure in Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration and various ERP solutions desirable.
