About the RoleDesign and develop digital platforms that enables ABC Product, Media, and Marketing teams to communicate, re-engage and grow ABC audiences across the wide range of ABC audience products.

Be part of an engineering team that supports, learns, and improves engineering practices as we contribute to the success of the ABC.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop technical, sustainable software solutions for the purpose of re-engaging with ABC audiences across ABC digital products.

Develop and maintain ABC digital marketing technology platforms with a focus on API integrations with ABC content and data systems.

Contribute to improving modern software practices within the team, including areas such as monitoring, automated testing, cloud infrastructure management, and documentation.

Work closely with other digital products, marketing, and media teams to strengthen and improve platform integrations with ABC digital app and web products.

Within a software team, continuously strengthen the architectural foundation of the platform and provide support for the architectural improvements and best practices.

Support the goal of building a highly trustworthy and audience privacy focused platform by constantly improving and building on industry and privacy standards.

About YouSolid experience in one or more programming languages or frameworks such as Go, React, or Typescript with the ability to write clean, efficient, and testable code.

Considerable experience in front-end web or back-end software technologies such as RESTful API, GraphQL, cloud-based data sources, and integration with third party vendor platformsDemonstrated experience developing in a modern cloud-based software development environment.

At the ABC we are an AWS shop.
An interest of mobile app architecture, and mobile software development practices.
Demonstrated experience in assessing, selecting, and using modern frameworks and software services.
Ability to share knowledge and foster an open and creative approach to software development both within and across teams.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down generally complex problems with attention to detail.

Organisational skills with the proven ability to effectively plan and prioritise projects and tasks, while working to ensure project timelines are met.
