About the role
Due to rapid growth within the organisation selectability is currently seeking a Corporate Trainer. The Corporate Trainer will work closely with management and the Corporate HR team to identify training needs, design training programs and deliver training sessions through various methods to our selectability workforce.
Main duties:
The responsibilities of the Corporate Trainer include, but are not limited to:
- developing training modules in accordance with policy, procedure and best practice in community mental health and NDIS
- delivering online and face to face training
- delivering new employee induction, emerging leaders program and future training pathways
- identifying training gaps across the organisation and propose opportunities for improvement
- managing the Learning Management System library
- project officer for the development of new training pathways, including emerging leaders program and regional coordinator induction
- designing and developing training modules
- ensuring that employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
- delivering accredited Mental Health First Aid training to the public
About you
To be considered for the Corporate Trainer position you must possess:
- understanding of community mental health and NDIS best practice
- a trainer who is passionate, interactive and a clear communicator, delivering online and face to face training
- experienced in developing training modules in accordance with best practice
- experience in PageUp learning module would be highly desirable
- accredited to deliver Mental Health First Aid would be highly desirable, or the ability to obtain accreditation within the first 3 months of commencement
- the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- excellent, written, communication and interpersonal skills
You will also need:
- a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain prior to commencing)
- a current yellow card exemption or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability or obtain prior to commencement)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (visit to access this free module)
- a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
