About the role


We are looking for numerous Pipeline Technicians who will be responsible for working on but not limited to AS4645 pressure pipes to supervise, operate and maintain gas pipelines and facilities.

You will play an integral part of the maintenance team and will be working on state-of-the-art facilities along with the operations and maintenance of the pipeline across multiple assets throughout the region.

You will be predominately based throughout the Sydney metro/Greater Sydney basin region however travel to other regional areas may be required from time to time.


The roles have a
starting salary of $90,000 + per annum,
tool of trade vehicle provided,
living away from home allowances and
overtime rates.

You will have the opportunity to participate in a rotational emergency after hours callout roster.

Key responsibilities include

  • Responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Supervise civil and construction activity within proximity to Gas pipelines and facilities
  • Maintenance of valves and other mechanical equipment associated with gas assets
  • Regular and routine Pipeline Patrol
  • Regular and routine maintenance of easements and right of way

About you

  • Underground asset experience (Gas Transmission or Gas distribution Preferred) working as part of an operations & maintenance team
  • High pressure gas experience (preferred)
  • Trade Qualification (preferred)
  • Driver's Licence
  • Experience overseeing contractors and providing direction
  • Instrumentation controls and operations exposure
