The PositionWe are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our Catering team. In this role you will be working within a fast-paced team that thrives to deliver Patient orientated customer service.
Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
- Distribution/collection of customer menus, food trays, beverages as well as basic food preparation
- Cleaning and sanitising workstations and food areas;
- Providing fast, friendly and exceptional customer service;
- Display a strong level of team commitment whilst also having the ability to work autonomously where required;
As a Catering Assistant, you will be working across a 7-day rotating roster. Flexibility is crucial for this role.
If you have strong written and verbal communication skills, possess a positive 'can do' attitude and can adhere to schedules and timeframes then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

- Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations, food preparation and service provision in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Food Safety Certificate and practical application of executing food standards in a Healthcare setting (desirable)
- Availability to work a rotating roster including days, evenings, public holidays and weekends (essential)
- Evidence of current Hepatitis B immunity (or the ability to obtain necessary vaccinations unless medically exempt)

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements
