About the position:

Our clients require utmost responsibility for the delivery of technology, marketing, and growth services that yield tangible results for their business. As our clients maneuver through this ever-evolving landscape, we need individuals who can adeptly develop and sustain these alliances. We are seeking two individuals who are enthusiastic about driving genuine business success through strategic and lucrative partnerships.

The role of Business Director is crafted to offer the suitable candidate the flexibility and autonomy to align our business with the aspirations and needs of our clients. In this capacity, you will be part of a team of highly skilled individuals who excel under clear and composed leadership. Your responsibility will lie in ensuring the success of your team by comprehending and consistently emphasizing what matters most to our clients presently and in the future, ensuring the right individuals are focusing on the right tasks to deliver shared value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently distribute and oversee client relationships across the region.
  • Strategically manage the client success team across the region.
  • Boost sales in the region in collaboration with the Commercial team and internal team, spanning inside sales, new business opportunities, cross-sells, and upsells.
  • Formulate client business strategies and supervise their execution by the CSMs in the region.
  • Ensure client and regional profitability through strategic supervision and monitoring of metrics.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to CSMs on products, platforms, and client strategy, staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Handle any client escalations to achieve mutually beneficial resolutions.
  • Collaborate with other Business Directors to meet national performance goals and ensure synergy between sales and operations.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new CSM team members.
  • Develop, oversee, and adhere to operational budgets/forecasts for the region.
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Skills, experience & desired attributes:

  • Solid background in retail, eCommerce, and digital domains.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position, overseeing multiple team members.
  • Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and business expansion.
  • Strategic thinker capable of recognizing and seizing emerging opportunities in the eCommerce sector.
  • Financial acumen along with the ability to manage operational budgets, comprehend profit and loss dynamics, and utilize financial insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Proactive mindset with an innate curiosity and motivation to explore new prospects and solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and proficiently manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and proficiency in state-of-the-art digital tools, encompassing social media, plugins, and applications relevant to the eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in both client deliverables and internal review processes.
  • Willingness to travel to clients' locations and strike a balance between office and client interactions.
