• Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey in the dynamic world of tourism? Our client, a leader in the tourism industry, is seeking a vibrant, customer centric and enthusiastic Membership Officer to join their team

As our Membership Officer, you'll be assisting and supporting their exclusive membership program.

The position would suit an up-and-coming tourism professional or recent graduate looking to begin their career in the tourism industry.

Training will be provided for the right applicant.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for existing and potential member queries and services, supporting the end to end membership life cycle
• Ad hoc admin duties
• Provide coaching, mentoring and advice to tourism operators relating to accreditation, marketing, etourism, workforce development, business planning and customer service
• Conduct online and onsite accreditation assessments with tourism businesses
• Maintain accurate and current records in relevant accreditation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases
• Assist with WA events, policy, and training and development programs
• Ability to travel independently within WA as required

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Training or related discipline (preferred)
• Knowledge of tourism industry relationships, issues and networks
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful membership strategies
• Possession of a current A class drivers' licence
