See yourself in our team We are highly driven engineers working on backend APIs for the Australia's #1 banking app - Comm Bank App.

We are hands-on coding and responsible for shaping the evolution of this system by designing and developing micro services, data access layers, REST API(s), and writing integration services for third-party API consumption, manage risk with safe deployments and automated testing, as well as learning more about back-end engineering.

We are interested in hearing from people who have Proven hands-on experience in developing backend applications using such as C#.

NET Core, REST APIs and Web APIYou're passionate about building developing and deploying high quality software solutions Are confident collaborating, present ideas, influencing and challenging stakeholders Are constantly continuously learning, experimenting, and driving innovation whilst applying best patterns and practices Solid hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices Are constantly thinking outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems and core business objectives Pride themselves on mentoring and coaching junior team members Are knowledgeable of security best practices and principles Tech Skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.

We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team: C#.

NET Core, REST APIs and Web APIMicro services and REST API Integration Create database designs for both relational and No SQL databases such as MSSQL, Oracle and Snowflake Kubernetes, Docker Git Hub, Team City Cloud Formation + AWS Code Pipeline, Azure Dev Ops Cloud hosting platforms AWS and Microsoft Azure Familiarity with public cloud engineering AWS or Azure and Kafka/event-based architecture Understanding of monitoring tools and CI/CD pipeline Working with us Whether you're passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career with Comm Bank is for you.
