An Australian Owned and Operated Freight Forwarder located in the CBD is seeking an newly licensed Customs Broker with up to 1-2 years experience to join their team and be responsible for the end-to-end Customs and Biosecurity processing utilising a broad range of skills in Customs Brokerage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Licensed Customs Broker & NCCC Accredited
  • Knowledge in entry preparation, classifying and compiling
  • Checking and lodging entries
  • Processing EFT payments
  • Preparing refund/duty drawbacks
  • Customs Tariff and Valuation
  • Free Trade Agreements
  • Business development opportunities

Role Requirements:

  • Current ABF license including DAWR accreditation
  • Cargowise experience
  • High degree of numeracy, literacy and analytical skills
  • Adaptable, ethical and handson approach
  • Ability to effectively interact and network with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate professional movement of all shipments
  • Firstclass communication skills written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise and timemanage
  • Attention to detail
