About the role:

The data developer creates and maintain database structure, making sure the data is stored efficiently, and writes and tests database code, including SQL queries, procedures, and functions. The role stays abreast of new and emerging technology to ensure the Platform Alliance Group stays low on technical debt and is an exemplar of best practice in the field.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Using excellent SQL and associated skills across multiple dialects to assist in the design and delivery of PAG's data solutions
  • Participating in the design and execution of batch and stream processing technologies
  • Using standard industry tools to execute advanced ETL in time-critical environments
  • Using data messaging systems such as Kafka and the associated ecosystems
  • Working with standard industry tools and practices such as containerisation

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the design and execution of batch and stream processing technologies
  • Using standard industry tools to execute advanced ETL in time-critical environments
  • Using data messaging systems such as Kafka and the associated ecosystems
  • Development for data stream processing
  • Working with standard industry tools and practices such as containerisation
Skills & Experience:
  • Data or IT degree qualification is preferable
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
