  • People with lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Disability Worker Screening clearance.
  • Possession of a C class driver's licence.
  • Some intrastate travel will be required.
  • It is a condition of employment to comply with the department's COVID19 Vaccination Requirements policy. Where this policy requirement applies, employees must provide evidence of their vaccination status including having the prescribed number of doses of an approved COVID19 vaccine prior to the commencement of their employment.
Key responsibilities of the role

  • Provide general information to enquirers about the NDIS access process.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively and sensitively with a diverse range of stakeholders including people with disability, government and nongovernment agencies, General Practitioners, Allied Health professionals and community organisations.
  • Identify informal and mainstream supports that may assist a person with disability outside of the NDIS.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, practices, policies and legislation in relation to the NDIS to further assist a person with disability to access the scheme.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date client case records in accordance with departmental procedures.
