If you are a detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector passionate about maintaining high standards in Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) projects, consider joining our dynamic team on a 2:1 FIFO basis in the Pilbara region. You will play a crucial role in upholding operational excellence.

The Role

• Conduct thorough inspections of structural, mechanical, and piping components to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to identify any defects and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, test outcomes, and quality control measures for reporting and auditing.
• Participate in supplier evaluations, material inspections, and weld inspections to maintain quality standards in the supply chain.

About You

• Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the SMP sector, ideally in industrial or construction environments.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and specifications relevant to SMP disciplines such as ASME, AWS, API, and ASTM.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and proficiency in interpreting technical documentation.
• Effective communication skills to engage with diverse teams and external partners.
