Security Operations Monitoring and Response Analyst (2024 Launch Program)

The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience.

Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience.

Overview

Role

In this role you will:

  • Partner cooperatively in a team environment to support the evolution of a wide array of programs across Mastercard business.
  • Liaise with the global customer base to identify opportunities to improve current programs and develop an understanding of customer needs.
  • Utilize various security technologies to identify alerts, prioritize and investigate security issues in a fastpaced environment.
  • Create dashboards and reports to support internal security audits.
  • Contribute to maintaining the knowledge base by updating procedural documentation. Actively participate in process improvement with global SOC analysts.
All About You

  • Bachelors/Masters student majoring in Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering with expected graduation date between Jan 2023 and Jan 202
  • Strong written, verbal English communication and presentation skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to derive and translate data analytics to meet business goals.

  • Good understanding of the OSI model, TCP/ IP networks, networking principles, security vulnerabilities, patching, and remediation workflows
  • Knowledge of Windows or Unix based Operating Systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a highperformance team and handle highpressure situations.
