Rotables Advisor on a contract basis in the Western Sydney suburbs.

Rate:
$59 p/h Casual


As a Rotables Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the supply of rotables to production lines and client depots to meet maintenance needs.

This involves analysing car plans, depot forecasts, managing systems, monitoring status, interfacing with suppliers, handling exceptions, and managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.

The role also focuses on proactively identifying and mitigating constraints.

Duties:

  • Support / Expedite / Manage the supply of Rotables for operation areas
  • Coordination & monitor Rotable movements to subcontractors from & to site
  • Analyse, Manage & Monitor delivery rotable requirements and ensure compliance with plans and schedules
  • Rotables Delivery Coordination with warehouse, Depots and subcontractors
  • Regularly update, analyse WRIKE/MCC reports with the material delivery dates
  • Attend materials review/train readiness review meeting to prepare & support rotable requirements
  • Coordination & resolution of issues with materials shortages
  • Manage and maintain Vendor Invoice Management Systems for Electric & Diesel fleet rotable products and related direct and indirect services
  • Ensure Purchase & Service Order management information systems is accurate and maintained and is compliant with company standard procedures
  • Develop and assist with applicable process documentation, functional procedures, work instructions, forms, templates etc., and ensure publication and control through the Quality Management System (QMS/DMS)
  • Undertake process improvements and product audits and initiate/own actions to support
  • Collating information/data to be included in monthly business reports
  • Ensure compliance with all record keeping requirements
  • Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the Rotables Manager

Experience needed:

  • 5 years' experience in Supply Chain/Procurement function and processes
  • Proficient skills in computers i.e. Microsoft Office with Intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience in modern warehouse processes, and familiar with MRP/ERP systems
  • Strong data review and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and followthrough within a fastpaced environment with multiple and competing demands.
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred or other asset management system.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
