About the Role


Driven by growth and an expanding customer base, Liebherr Crawler Crane and Foundation Equipment Division has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated OEM Crane Technician.

Reporting to the National Service Manager, this role is responsible for diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs in the field for existing and new customers across Sydney and throughout Australian and New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis on heavy machinery
  • Major and minor services
  • New machine builds
  • Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
  • Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
  • Complete Service Reports
  • Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
  • Organising your own jobs and parts ordering
  • Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

About You:

  • Trade qualified in Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Flexibility to travel and work overtime as required
  • Capable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.
  • Extensive Crane, or Heavy vehicle industry experience
  • Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
  • A current driver's license
  • Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
