Job description:

To provide a key role in developing the NSW Government initiative for database services.


Using AWS or Azure, develop DEVOPS solution using Terraform code and Azure DEVOPS pipelines to deploy database instances and machines into a managed service offering.

Works with DBAs and Managed Database team to build and enhance service offerings for cloud database.

Requirments:

  • At least 2 years experience with automation development and implementation (DEVOPS/infrastructure as code)
  • Experience in MS SQL Server and/or Cloud database preferably Azure and/or AWS (SQL PaaS and IaaS)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplined team
  • Sound knowledge of cloud administration and principles
  • Excellent written and communication skills
