As a Porter Station Cleaner you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall travel experience for thousands of passengers daily.
These casual roles work across a 24/7 shift work operational roster, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Casual positions have no set hours at an hourly rate of $32 + penalty rates + 23% casual loading + super
Proudly representing Queensland Rail you will be:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of stations
- Cleaning and sanitising hightraffic areas, platforms, and restrooms
This is a great role if you are:
- Passionate about delivering outstanding safety minded customer service in a busy station environment
- Able to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, with public holidays offered as required Work across a range of shifts including after hours on our stations and platforms.
About you: (what you'll bring)
- Must have a current Driver License and reliable personal transport to travel toandfrom work when public transport is not available.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Strong communication skills and a team focused attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to safely lift and move objects as part of your working day.
