All these customers have their own methods of approaching the market for either new service or solution provision, or renewal / re-validation of existing contracted services.


What would a day in the Life look like for The Satellite Bid & Capture Manager?


You will be the axis of bid management and be leading the response within the Satellite Business Unit, to triage, formulate, collate and respond to these opportunities accurately and on-time.


Overall, the Satellite Bid & Capture Manager (SBCM) will be responsible for leading a virtual team to ensure timely bid response and sales outcome success maximisation.

The SBCM applies their understanding of commercial & governmental sales processes and service capabilities to:

  • Support the development of winning sales strategies.
  • Develop valueadd sales solutions and constructs to exceed the customer requirement.
  • Produce compelling & winning bids submissions and assist in the negotiation of sophisticated agreements
  • Interact with Sales Leads and Technical / Engineering, Commercial, Financial, Risk and Legal SME's as required to compose a rounded and considered response offering.

What Makes you perfect for the role?

  • Australian Citizen
  • Security Clearance NV1 or ability to achieve Defence Clearance essential.
  • Minimum 45 years' experience supporting solution sales of large, multiyear, multi service, or complex service contracts in the IT&T industry.
  • You have successfully led contracts and bid management at a tactical and operational level.
  • Experience developing and/or analysing cost & price models and reflecting in written narrative.
  • Proven experience in quickly developing reliable business insights based on limited facts Professional skills.
  • Experience in Satellite or Telecommunications highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable outstanding written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Possess demonstrable understanding of business requirements, industry trends and competitive knowledge.
  • Ability to lead a virtual team and work effectively in a collaborative team environment providing support to other team members.
