Job Overview:

To strongly influence cash collection / aged debt (60+ & 180+) and to pro-actively contribute towards achieving a monthly DSO KPI.

To enhance the customer end-to-end experience and remove any obstacles preventing timely payment of invoices.
Hybrid- home/ office- work schedule

Job scope:

Cash collection by phone/email aiming for an average of 100 core contacts per week Ability (probably from extensive experience in credit control and in some technical areas of the freight forwarding industry) to "sense" from various available data whether a customer is likely to default in future); to balance customer relations with refusal to give credit/further credit at a given time; and associated with this the ability to detect the difference between a genuine customer complaint and an excuse not to pay Proactively pursues systems optimization and bringing forward ideas for improvement of the credit control systems Solely ensuring regular Client statement of accounts issued Willing to assume responsibility for resolving customer problems Interpret a Clients balance sheet to reveal credit worthiness in conjunction with Creditsafe vetting tool Qualifications Ideally over 1,5 years' experience in Credit Control position, with current hands-on You possess excellent telephone manner Ability and confidence to deal with difficult customers or staff if the need arises You possess a methodical approach to work, are well-structured and are able to prioritise workload IT literate (ability to use MS Office tools such as Word, Excel etc.)Freight forwarding background and knowledge of Cargo Wise 1 would be an advantage What moves you?
