Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and other daily living activities.
-
Support Plans: Implement and follow individual support plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
-
Community Engagement: Facilitate social and recreational activities, encouraging community involvement and social interaction.
-
Transport: Provide transportation to and from appointments, social activities, and other outings.
-
Medication Assistance: Support clients with medication administration as required.
-
Household Tasks: Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and other domestic tasks.
-
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, incidents, and other relevant information.

Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and well-being of clients, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

Safety: Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

-
Education: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field.
-
Experience: Previous experience in a disability support role or similar position is preferred.
-
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Uptodate vaccinations as per health regulations.
