As part of our rapid growth, we are seeking experienced Crusher Technicians, Mechanical Fitters & Boilermakers to join our Kalgoorlie Operations in a casual role.

Generous rates of pay & incentives for the right candidates. Local candidates preferred but not limited to.

Your role:

• Completion of daily mechanical maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan as directed by the Mechanical Supervisor.
• Carry out time and material estimations for planned tasks and enter associated parts orders.
• Undertaking repairs and component change outs, where required.
• Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections, equipment repairs and associated component change outs in a safe, responsible, and timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine components to determine causes of failures when required, including gathering of failure evidence for later analysis.
• Raise improvement opportunity ideas with Mechanical Supervisor or Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
• Additional duties over shutdown periods as required.
• Ensure all tasks meet quality standards and deadline and are carried out safely.
• Ensuring compliance to work order attachments and documents such as JHA's, SWI's, etc. This includes the updating of any of these documents to ensure they are kept relevant and reflect best practices.
• Supervise small teams of trades people during scheduled shutdowns and outages.

About you:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a fixed plant maintenance role within a mineral processing plant or similar mining environment
• Proven experience with crushers, grinding mills, feeders, conveyors, pumps, and bulk handling equipment.
• Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems.
• Ability to perform under pressure and have an excellent level of mechanical competence, diagnostic and reporting skills.
• Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification essential
• A current and valid manual Australian Driver's licence essential
• Confined space, Working at heights, EWP, (LF) Forklift, Crane, and Basic rigging Tickets (advantageous)
• NPC within 12 Months.
• Provide a compliant drug and alcohol screen on request
