The Digital Marketing Team Lead is an active senior member of Chisholm's Marketing and Communications team and is responsible for the strategic positioning and success of key digital marketing channels at Chisholm.

The Digital Marketing Team Lead is also a recognised specialist in digital marketing across Chisholm and plays a key role in precision decision making and strategic recommendations.


You will:

  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on continuous improvement projects that transform the customer experience, through the proliferation of digital tools across Chisholm's customer and student services areas.
  • Proactively consider and communicate how Chisholm can expand and leverage its opportunities through the use of digital marketing.
  • Develop strategic and functional digital marketing plans, informed by forecasting trends and consumer insight.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the wider Marketing and Communications team, teaching and learning business areas, and the Executive Team.
  • Lead, develop and mentor a skilled digital marketing team towards the achievement of key strategic objectives that embed digital initiatives across Chisholm.


As Digital Marketing Team Lead, your key responsibilities will cover web and digital asset management; digital content coordination; operational management; leadership; and stakeholder management.


Think key phrases such as:

  • Optimised web publishing, (html and nocode), IA, SEO, UX, CX.
  • Martech platforms and cross systems integration (CMS > SMS > CRM, etc.)
  • Owned vs paid digital advertising and communication channels (social media, Meta, Google, EDM, display, etc.)
  • Marketing automation, data analytics and reporting.
  • Business scope gathering and technical briefs.
  • Guide and support internal (ITS) and external (agency) teams.
  • Accessibility, risk and compliance.

ABOUT YOU


You are a proven digital marketer with a relevant post-graduate level qualification in a marketing-related field with extensive leadership and management experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training and management and leadership experience.


You have the innate ability to think critically while paying attention to details of compliance, form and function, and systems integration to drive user brand awareness, consideration, conversion, retention, satisfaction and growth.

You support this with an analytical mindset and ability to gather and analyse data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

You have exceptional skills in time management and workload prioritisation to meet critical deadlines. You're just as comfortable on the tools as pitching strategy.
