The position of Media Analyst is part of the Insights team at Streem. This team is in charge of creating customized reports for our Communication clients, which are used to shape their communication strategies, evaluate performance, and are typically shared with top-level executives. Our approach is highly valued at Streem, given its consultative nature and direct, clean commentary style. Analysts in this role provide data-driven insights, key points, and visually appealing charts and metrics in their reports. The team is comprised of diligent and curious professionals who handle all aspects of report production, from research to client interaction. They collaborate closely with the Insights Manager or Team Leader in small teams to ensure quality and continuous skill development across various project levels.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Insights team on Media Analysis reports for different customer tiers
  • Assessing media coverage sentiment
  • Conducting data searches and extractions
  • Developing report templates for new clients
  • Utilizing data visualization tools to create and update charts
  • Extracting insights and summarizing key findings
  • Sending reports to clients and occasionally presenting research
  • Enhancing charting options and refining client reports
  • Handling a specific set of client reports
  • Training and supporting new team members
  • Participating in team meetings and activities
  • Providing feedback on internal tools to Tech and Product departments
  • Collaborating with other teams on strategic projects
