About the Role
We are seeking an HSE Advisor to join the Safety and Compliance Team reporting to the Head of Risk.

In this role you will provide advice on the OHS&E issues and ensure systems and procedures are in place and maintained to provide a safe place of work for all Mc Coll's employees, contractors and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring a safe and compliant operation of the organisation.
Ensuring compliance training and assessment requirements are identified and managed in accordance with statutory requirements.
Ensuring all hazardous activities are identified, analysed, reported and control measures implemented.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives in the OHS&E functions of the business.
Ensuring incidents are reported to relevant stakeholders, investigated and follow-up actions are identified and implemented.
Supporting the provision of training for safe ways of working and best practices for the handling of hazardous materials
Supporting the effective management of return-to-work (RTW) programs
Collate monthly, quarterly and yearly OHS&E data.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
A formal certification (Minimum Cert IV) in Safety.
Minimum of 3+ years in safety positions.
Experience working with safety and environmental regulators.
Experience in Workcover/RTW.
Ideally experience working in Transport.
Keen willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge.
