Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Rolling out Flashing
  • Folding flashings
  • Shaping and forming cut metal
  • Riveting and assembling metal
  • Measuring and marking of metal
  • Selecting metal stock, gauges and other dimensions of metal stock against specifications
- studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job, material and equipment requirements

  • Input of measurement and design to the machine for cutting
  • Using templates, gauges and other measuring instruments
  • Overseeing flashing machine operators

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
  • Experience providing out of the box solutions to unique and complex operating problems;
  • General ability to use computers, radios, phones, tablets etc to achieve work outcomes and reporting requirements;
  • Exposure to working in high pressure environments;
  • Physically capable of performing the role;
  • Long periods of sitting and standing;

Qualification Requirements:
Completed CERTIFICATE IV IN ENGINEERING and CERTIFICATE III IN ENGINEERING - FABRICATION AND TRADE

Minimum 2 Years Experience

Full time

Salary:
$70,720.00 per year

  • SOMERTON, VIC 3062: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
